Mechanical, Electrical and I&C Expertise

Our nuclear mechanical experts will support in overseeing mechanical design and assessment, the design of piping and pressure vessel and material selection, process design, piping fabrication, installation and testing. They are experienced with many types of analysis software including CAESARII, Autopipe, Pipestress, Abaqus, STAAD and RSTAB. 

They will expertly perform and record static, dynamic and thermal stress analyses. Our nuclear electrical experts will support in the design and development of nuclear electrical systems, give technical and maintenance advice on all electrical system components. They possess expert knowledge of the norms of nuclear electrical systems, including the general O&M of Electrical equipment and components, installation, testing and commissioning. They are experienced in identifying, assessing and mitigation of electrical design risks throughout the design and implementation life cycle and have full awareness of implications of Engineering Design Risks to installation and commissioning.

Our nuclear Instrumentation and Control experts will take responsibility for the instrument and control system design, prototype development and testing, plant level system integration, and commissioning, develop supporting design documentation, design of I&C together with auxiliary electrical systems from functional requirements through to the final design. Development and review of system and equipment level specifications and scope. Implement engineering and design evaluations in the relevance of nuclear codes and standards, licensing constraints, and all relevant regulations. Provide technical direction and guidance in applicable nuclear and non-nuclear related design standards. Analyse and apply regulatory criteria and standards to complex Instrumentation and Control system design. Develop and review technical design documents, such as System Requirements Documents, System Design Descriptions, Interface Control Documents, Engineering Design Specifications, create and manage drawing packages of system and sub-system designs, including P&IDs, control system architecture drawings, control logic and loop diagrams, and instrument installation drawings and generate an integrated design package for key systems and sub-systems. Integrate I&C with work of other stakeholders, engineers, regulators, and subject matter experts and interface with and support licensing activities associated with Safety Analysis Reports.
